SPANISH

Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world so it’s a language well worth learning. Head to Spain, study the local language in the mornings and explore all this exotic land has to offer in the afternoons. Courses are available all around the country including Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Alicante, Cadiz, El Puerto, Malaga and Salamanca. Or choose a combination to suit you. Whether you prefer lazy days at the beach or soaking up the culture of the city, Spain has something for everyone - and wherever you go, the nightlife is exceptional!

You may choose between group and individual lessons, or a combination of the two. But it’s not just the language we’ll teach you. As well as Spanish you can learn about Spanish culture and literature, business Spanish or Spanish for tourism. We even offer classes in cookery and dance (flamenco or Latin) and there are courses for juniors and seniors (50 plus). We’ve got everyone covered!

For beginners, at least three months study is recommended. This should (depending on your efforts!) get you to an intermediate level where you can converse and get by adequately living in Spain.

If you would like a formal qualification in Spanish language you can do a preparation course followed by the internationally-recognised DELE (Diplomas de Espanol como Lengua Extranjera). These examinations are organised by the Instituto Cervantes and are officially recognised by the Spanish and other governments.

There are plenty of options when it comes to accommodation. Some people opt to immerse themselves in the local culture and live with a home stay family, while others head for a student residence or apartment.

ITALIAN

Italian is a Romance language that has a close relationship to Latin. What better way to learn this language than to study in Italy itself! We offer courses Florence, Rome, Milan, Siena and Siracusa (Sicily). As well as mastering the language, you can take courses in Art History, Culinary Arts, Drawing, Painting, History of Fashion and Design. Budding musicians can further their studies of a musical instrument and there is even a course, Canto and Diction for Singers, specifically for opera singers!

Accommodation is primarily with home stay families or in apartments.
